Behavioral Economics is a global discipline focused on helping customers make better decisions. To achieve this, the behavioral economics team analyzes how cognitive biases influence our habits and behaviors to design contexts that facilitate our choices.
About the job:
The candidate will be involved in the discipline as a Behavioral Economics Leader. He/she will report to the Global Head of Behavioral Economics, co-designing the strategy, supporting countries, and defining and implementing key projects for the discipline.
In particular, he/she will have to:
1. Define the strategy of BE in the organization, exploring and proposing new approaches and areas of application.
2. Conceptualize, define, and plan project schedules, adapting to the needs of stakeholders and existing resources.
3. Design/develop research, customer journeys, competitive and market intelligence analysis to analyze the context/problem and explore ideas.
4. Ensure the proper application of Behavioral Economics in the projects he/she leads or is involved in.
5. Launch pilots/experiments in coordination with the project team.
6. Define comprehensive recommendations/initiatives based on knowledge and analysis.
7. Know the tools and vendors necessary to perform his/her job.
8. Define and measure key metrics to understand the impact on project results.
9. Work closely with assigned countries to help implement and scale BE locally.
10. Participate in the enrichment of the methodology thanks to his/her expertise in special projects.
11. Share findings, definitions, and developments in terms of Behavioral Economics with countries and other discipline members.
Requirements
The Behavioral Economics Discipline Leader should have:
1. Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, or Anthropology.
2. Experience working in consultancy, specializing in the banking industry with a focus on innovative environments.
3. Proven experience in strategy, preferably with a focus on behavioral economics.
4. More than 5 years of experience applying behavioral economics.
5. Knowledge in market research, business intelligence, research, and/or customer behavior.
6. Knowledge in behavioral pricing is desirable.
7. Knowledge in launching pilots in programs/experiments in coordination with the project team.
8. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and resourceful skills.
9. Experience working on multi-country projects is a plus.
10. Hands-on experience in creating and executing innovative solutions within large organizations.
11. Project management experience and demonstrated capacity to work under pressure.
12. Focus on execution and results-oriented with a track record of “getting things done.”
13. Ability to adapt and work in evolving environments.
14. Strong planner, with remarkable capacity for time management and prioritization.
15. Cooperative and enthusiastic about working on a team.
16. Excellent communication skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
17. Transformational mindset and ability to inspire a culture of innovation.
18. Interest and aptitude to understand and improve processes, channels, and products.
19. Fluency in English.
