Job Summary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Uses initiative in identifying and soliciting prospects.
* Makes personal contacts with existing and prospective customers as scheduled. Uses telephone or mail solicitation daily to help identify prospects and contact customers.
* Explains products and services to existing and potential customers, using clear, non-technical language.
* Develops insurance plans, including plans for single policy and those for comprehensive coverage.
* Follows-up on sales, providing any necessary service to existing customers and anticipating possible needs for additional coverage.
* Makes sure that products and services are delivered to customers through the use of CGIC Integrated System and in accordance with the quality systems and procedures set by the company.
* Closely monitors accounts receivables of customers and arranges actual collection of payments.
* Encodes details of premium payment on the remarks portion of the Gestalt Integrated System.
* Prepares renewal advisories for motor and other lines.
* Conducts Validation Calls through telemarketing.
* Prepares and mails collection letters for past due accounts and returned checks.
* Files collection letters and other records related to Sales Activities.
* Requests office supplies and various business forms needed by the group.
* Performs other sales-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
* Graduate of any four-year course.
* Preferably with working experience in a non-life insurance company.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Preferably familiar with word processing and spreadsheet.
