Context of the Role The Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software solutions using .NET and Golang ecosystems. Success in this role means delivering efficient, scalable, and maintainable code while collaborating closely with cross functional teams. Reporting to the Lead Developer or Software Development Manager, the Senior Developer contributes to the technical direction of projects and ensures adherence to best coding practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, test, and deploy .NET applications, ensuring high performance and security.
2. Maintain an existing platform in .NET and work on a new version of the platform in Golang.
3. Collaborate with Product Owners, Security and Infrastructure team and Data Team to implement technical solutions.
4. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices and code quality.
5. Optimize application performance and scalability, addressing technical debt where necessary.
6. Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand ups, and retrospectives.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring system stability and reliability.
8. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing solutions.
