The Position
As a Head of Commercial Excellence, you will be responsible for leading the team that drives excellence in execution of the field teams in the Spanish affiliate. The purpose of the role is to provide the right resources and tools to ensure operational excellence in field operations. This includes incentive compensation, territory alignment, segmentation and targeting, and activity and sales performance review, among others.
As a curious learner, you will stay up to date with capabilities for field teams and best practices in analytical trends. With strong communication and social skills, you will need to simplify complex processes to make them useful and impactful in the day-to-day operations of our field teams. As a people manager, you will lead and develop your team to ensure impact in the organization.
Your Main Responsibilities
* Support your team to unlock barriers in other areas that slow down the implementation of FFCE.
* Design an incentive scheme that aligns sales incentives with NN strategic aspirations.
* Become the “eyes” of the organization in understanding sub-national performance, identifying areas of focus for the regional teams to address.
* Support the organization in the continuous review and improvement of the GTM model, including resource optimization.
* Provide high-quality contributions to CLT & Customer Teams meetings / decisions, visible role modeling leadership behaviors, acting as One Team.
* Track and improve commercial execution in the field.
* Partner with CC and other field-based roles (Medical / MAPA) to ensure flawless execution in the field and appropriate tools in place to support execution.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Life sciences, Engineering, or similar required.
* 5-7 years of experience in leading teams in customer engagement, commercial excellence, business operations, or strategic consultancy.
* Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and project management processes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to expand relationships at all levels by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully develop, implement, and deliver commercial excellence solutions. Field experience will be valued.
* Strong influencing skills with the ability to challenge and gain consensus across varied teams.
* Proactive and accountable with a clear drive for delivery.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Agile in approach with a flair for developing new ways to grow and improve the business.
* Strong presentation skills with the ability to tailor content relevant to the audience.
* Exceptional team player and collaborative in approach.
* Solid verbal & written communication skills (EN & ES).
About the Department
You will join our Customer Engagement team reporting to the Customer Engagement Sr. Director. In this role, you will have strong cross-functional collaboration with business leaders and regional counterparts.
