Ricardo Rail is leading in the field of independent advice on the purchase or modernisation of rolling stock vehicles. We support our customers in this by, among other things, specifying rolling stock, supplier selection, contract formation, contract monitoring, design verification, quality assessment, warranty monitoring and project management. Through a sharp diagnosis and analysis, we provide appropriate advice to improve the process of purchasing and modernising rolling stock vehicles. The Role As a quality inspector, you are responsible for assessing the construction process of new rolling stock vehicles and their equipment. You have sound knowledge of relevant production processes, such as welding, gluing, preservation and assembly processes. You are able to visually distinguish between qualitative and non qualitative products. You also like to consult with the internal quality department of the supplier to find the causes of the observed quality issues. You independently carry out projects and inspections, but always consult with colleagues and customers. You are confident enough to perform your work at a supplier as independently as possible and you can report well. In addition, you are prepared to work abroad at various suppliers. Key Competencies And Experience Technical education or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or similar; Knowledge and experience with train production is a plus; Knowledge and experience with small scale, manual series production, such as machine construction; Work experience: at least 3 to 5 years, experience in quality assurance is a plus; Enterprising personality, focused on creating new opportunities and projects; Willingness to participate in appealing international projects; Excellent communication skills, continuously building a customer network; Independent, results and customer oriented working method; Fluent in Spanish and good command of English, both spoken and written; German is a plus; Working here You will be warmly welcomed into our workplace where every voice matters.
