TEAM OVERVIEW
The Product Marketing Growth Team sits at the intersection of market opportunity, go-to-market innovation, and category leadership. We bring deep customer empathy, business acumen, and storytelling capabilities to define and expand new markets where SAP can lead. You’ll join a dynamic, high-impact team focused on accelerating SAP’s role in ESG reporting, regulatory readiness, and data-driven sustainability performance.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to take ownership of key growth categories for enterprise Sustainability solutions. This will include categories such as Sustainability Reporting and Analytics. You’ll shape a fast-evolving market category, influence product strategy, and enable global field teams with compelling messaging, competitive differentiation, and content that drives action. As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, Industry and Regional Marketing, Field Enablement, and Sales to translate strategy into scalable GTM execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Market Leadership & Category Creation : Define and shape the market category for Sustainability Reporting, positioning SAP as a clear leader in enabling data-driven, auditable ESG disclosure.
* Messaging & Storytelling : Develop compelling messaging frameworks and narratives that articulate our value proposition across personas including Chief Sustainability Officers and Chief Information Officers.
* Analytics Strategy Leadership : Drive and evolve our analytics strategy for sustainability, partnering with product and platform teams to ensure our vision is aligned with emerging customer needs and technology trends.
* GTM Execution & Sales Enablement : Create enablement assets, competitive positioning, customer-facing content, and sales plays that scale globally, supporting field teams to win in key markets.
* Customer & Market Intelligence : Stay on the pulse of evolving ESG regulations, customer pain points, and analyst perspectives. Feed insights into product roadmaps and influence portfolio priorities.
* Cross-Functional Leadership : Partner with product, industry, and regional marketing to drive aligned execution across the business, acting as the marketing voice of the customer.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
* 7+ years of experience in product marketing, solution marketing, or a related role in B2B enterprise software.
* Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., CSRD, SEC, ISSB, GRI) and sustainability trends.
* Experience with analytics and reporting solutions; familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud and / or data platforms is a plus.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complexity into clear, differentiated messaging.
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling and executive presence.
* Self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
