We are seeking a dynamic Head of Operations to lead our ground handling activities at the airport.
This key role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of airport operations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Oversight of all ground handling operations, including baggage handling, aircraft loading and unloading, OPS control, and flight OPS assistance.
* Development and implementation of operational strategies to optimize performance, minimize delays, and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Leadership of a team of ground handling personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of performance and adherence to safety protocols.
* Driving continuous improvement within the team through clear objectives, performance evaluations, and data analysis.
* Identification of opportunities for improvement and cost reduction through performance monitoring and stakeholder feedback.
* Maintenance of Regulatory and Industrial Standards and Duties.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in OPS Management positions with experience in managing peak operations.
* Excellent English language skills in writing and speaking, and fluency in Spanish.
* Advanced skills in MS Office, databases, IATA standards, A-CDM, and other relevant systems.
* Knowledge of the local industry, including seasonality, and ability to adapt the operating model accordingly.
* Ability to lead and motivate teams, discuss and present ideas based on data, and challenge the status quo.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
