Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the marketing teams to ensure the seamless implementation of SEO strategies and projects.
Analyze and optimize the website’s overall structure to ensure it is search-engine friendly. Implement sitemaps and robots.txt files to guide search engine crawlers in efficiently indexing the website
Optimize individual web pages for target keywords and optimize the content layout of web pages
Conduct regular technical SEO audits of the website using tools, analyze data to identify issues, develop and implement solutions to fix the identified issues
Use keyword research tools to identify relevant keywords for the website’s content. Analyze long-tail keywords that can drive highly targeted traffic
Work closely with content teams to integrate the identified keywords into the website’s content. Provide guidelines on keyword density, placement, and usage to ensure that the content is optimized for search engines without sacrificing readability
Generate regular reports on the website’s SEO performance, provide actionable insights based on the data analysis for management and other stakeholders
Requirements
Excellent written and spoken English skills
6+ years of proven experience in a Technical SEO role, with a solid track record of driving results. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest SEO practices and industry trends.
Having a solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Be able to read and modify web page code to implement SEO-related changes (including but not limited to: meta tags optimization, broken link fix, page layout improvement).
Having a basic understanding of SEO-related server-side technologies (including but not limited to: HTTP status codes, cache, and sitemap generation)
Proficiency with common SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
Data-driven mindset with a clear understanding of analytics, metrics, and the ability to make data-backed recommendations.
Strong ownership mentality, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proactive, independent, and self-managed with excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
Plus
Familiarity with content management system (CMS) such as Wordpress
Proficiency in Chinese
Passion for language learning and education.
Experience working in global companies with coworkers in multiple offices in different regions.
