Job Description :
Develop and maintain client relationships during the management and renewal process of assigned insurance accounts to ensure excellent customer service and account retention.
Essential Functions :
1. Active control and management of all service aspects of an account to ensure that all necessary coverages have been offered, placed, or renewed in a timely manner in accordance with PIA renewal practices.
2. Direct pro-active communication with clients.
3. Direct interaction with Sales Executives on any and all assigned accounts for renewal, rounding or cross-selling.
4. Direct interaction with Sales Agents, Marketing Managers and Technical Assistants on the renewal, rounding and cross-selling of accounts.
5. Provide direction and oversight to Technical Assistants working on behalf of assigned clients.
6. Cross-sell and/or refer to the appropriate departments, prospects and clients for the sale of additional lines of insurance and rounding of accounts.
7. Coordinate change requests and modify policies as appropriate or as requested.
8. Manage the underwriting process to include the marketing, rating, preparation of proposals and applications, forms and required documents to ensure the successful sale and/or renewal of accounts or additional lines of coverage.
9. Record, report and service assigned clients claims and losses, or refer clients to Claims department.
10. Request and research reports and information relevant to the placing of new and/or renewal business. Regularly review exception and aged receivable reports, check for accuracy and correct if needed.
11. Follow company procedures regarding the documentation and maintenance of account information in EPIC system.
12. Be familiar with and follow Agency E&O guidelines.
13. Report any omissions regarding coverage on policies to the Branch Manager.
14. Maintain and exercise the highest level of confidentiality regarding the business of internal and external customers and company information.
15. Any other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience :
* High School diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.).
* 3 to 5 years of commercial lines insurance experience.
* Active 2-20 Property & Casualty Insurance License.
* EPIC experience a plus.
* LARGE account experience a must.
* Condo experience a plus.
Remote AFTER training.
