We’re on the hunt for a skilled Product Manager to lead our PIM for Shopify integration. You’ll be in charge of making Plytix and Shopify work seamlessly together, creating an intuitive experience that Shopify merchants will love.
You’ll collaborate with our Engineering, Design, and Data teams to build a product that actually solves real problems—helping merchants manage their product data with ease. The goal? Make Plytix the go-to PIM for Shopify sellers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about Shopify, ecommerce, and building SaaS products that make a difference for small and medium-sized businesses.
What will you be doing?
* Define and lead the product vision for integrating Plytix with Shopify, making it simple, intuitive, and built for Shopify merchants.
* Collaborate with Engineering, UX, and Data teams to develop and refine features that tackle real Shopify product information challenges.
* Own the product journey—from discovery to launch—keeping execution smooth and improvements ongoing.
* Get to know Shopify merchants inside and out, especially the struggles of managing product data without a PIM, and make sure Plytix is the perfect solution.
* Use data-driven insights (with help from our Data team) to guide decisions and enhance the Shopify experience within Plytix.
* Keep everyone aligned by ensuring clear communication and keeping projects on track.
* Keep iterating on the integration, so Shopify users can easily adopt and get the most out of Plytix.
After 1 month:
You’ve immersed yourself in Plytix and the world of PIM. You’ve connected with key stakeholders, learned our workflows, and dug into the Shopify vertical. You’re starting to understand our goals, strategy, and the specific needs of Shopify users, gathering initial insights to inform your work.
After 3 months:
You’re driving key integration projects, and collaborating with teams to enhance the Shopify experience within Plytix. You’re taking ownership of deliverables, laying the groundwork for impactful improvements.
6 months in:
You’ve delivered measurable enhancements to the Shopify integration, improving user adoption and satisfaction. You’re a key player in shaping how Plytix serves Shopify merchants—with tangible results to show for it.
Who will you be working with?
You’ll join a specialized unit within the broader product team, with a dedicated development team assigned to your Shopify initiatives. You’ll also collaborate with marketing and sales to make sure the integration meets market needs. As this is one of our biggest projects, you’ll update weekly to the CEO and work closely with them from time to time.
What do we look for in the ideal candidate:
* Direct experience implementing Shopify solutions or working with Shopify clients (such as in an agency, as a freelancer, or running your own store).
* Strong knowledge of Shopify’s features, ecosystem, and the challenges merchants face without a PIM—plus how a PIM like Plytix can integrate to solve them.
* Proven ability to lead Shopify-related projects, even if not with years of PM experience—hands-on execution matters more than tenure.
* A sharp eye for usability and a track record of simplifying complex tools or integrations.
* Comfort working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* A proactive mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and iterating to find the best solutions.
