International company in constant expansion is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Commercial Officer to lead the retail eCommerce division focused on pharmacy and parapharmacy products. This role will be pivotal in driving sales growth, optimizing pricing strategies, and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in eCommerce sales, broad knowledge of the pharmacy/parapharmacy industry, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical retail landscape. Reporting to the CEO. Their responsibilities are: Trading: Responsible for driving topline throughout the year and in line with targets, by establishing a category and vendor strategy while collaborating with the marketing team on the right promotional calendar. In charge of ensuring profitability through vendor terms negotiation, value added services and the typical ecommerce levers (pricing, ) Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a diverse team of 25 professionals across various functions including sales vendor management, purchasing and inventory management. Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team members meet their goals. Foster a collaborative and high performance culture that encourages innovation and accountability. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the eCommerce pharmacy sector. Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for new products and services. Pricing and Inventory Management: Master eCommerce pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Oversee inventory purchasing and management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory. Collaborate with supply chain teams to enhance product availability, efficiencies and reduce costs. Vendor Negotiation and Relationship Management: Negotiate favorable terms and marketing services with vendors to ensure cost effective purchasing and reliable product supply. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance partnership opportunities and value added services. Customer Experience Optimization: Work closely with marketing and customer service teams to enhance the online shopping experience and increase customer loyalty. Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service delivery and product offerings. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and make informed business decisions. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, outlining achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
