The Attack Surface Consultant is responsible for coordinating scheduling, scoping, remediation, and reporting activities for penetration tests performed by third-party vendors. Utilize vulnerability management tools and compliance reporting to augment testing and recommend security control improvements. Define and prepare reporting materials for leadership indicating vulnerability trends and areas for improvement. Coordinate with the Client Data Protection team to address client inquiries about penetration testing policies, scope, and methodology.
Technical understanding and experience assessing threats to and identifying weaknesses in multiple operating system platforms, database and application servers, and custom and off-the-shelf applications. Familiar with Vulnerability Management tools such as Qualys, Nessus, Nuclei, nmap, etc. Knowledge and experience with diverse IT architectures, external hosted services, cloud computing environments, and server and network device configurations.
Requirements:
* More than 8 years of Project Management Experience.
* Knowledge of Information Security and Cybersecurity processes.
* English proficiency.
