We are seeking a Content Marketing Specialist with a strong education background to join our Barcelona-based team and support our marketing initiatives in the US market.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Editing
Write, edit, and proofread marketing copy for digital and print campaigns, ensuring alignment with the brand voice and objectives.
Collaborate with the Creative Designer to ensure copy complements visuals across all marketing materials.
Collaboration with Leadership & Teams
Partner closely with the Director of Marketing and Product, Marketing Project Manager, and Creative Designer to create cohesive and impactful messaging.
Provide copywriting support to other departments, tailoring content to meet their specific goals and audience needs.
Quality Control
Review and edit all marketing content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency, maintaining high editorial standards across departments.
Work with the SEO Manager to incorporate SEO best practices into content creation for digital platforms.
Reporting & Optimization
Track and analyze the performance of written content across various channels.
Use data and team feedback to refine and optimize copy for maximum engagement and impact.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Education, or a related field.
A master’s degree is a plus.
English mother tongue
Experience:
3+ years of professional experience in content creation, marketing, or related roles.
Familiarity with US K-12 or higher education systems is highly desirable.
Skills:
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in SEO best practices and experience with digital analytics tools.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for consistency, tone, and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with world language education or educational publishing.
Knowledge of Spanish, French, or German is a plus.
