Job Purpose: The BorgWarner Arden campus offers two world-class technical centers and a cutting-edge manufacturing facility that designs and produces turbos, fan, and fan drive components for the automotive industry. This position will transport material or other goods in such a way as to allow the continuous flow of products throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Unload/Load trucks
* Verify quantity loading/unloading is accurate
* Ensure paperwork and labeling is correct
* Scan parts for receipt/delivery as required
* Stage material for put away/pickup
* Review assembly build requirements
* Pick and stage parts for delivery to the production areas
* Deliver material from the warehouse to the production areas and vice versa
* Provide support to the decant areas
* Drive forklift or operate other power equipment to transport materials
* Use SAP to put away parts and to pick them from warehouse locations
* Notify supervisor regarding inventory shortages/discrepancies
* Stack materials in designated area
* Understand and adhere to current health, safety, and environmental policies
* Communicate and enforce safe work procedures
* Identify and close safety issues and their corrective actions
* Understand and adhere to current quality and control policies
* Perform other duties as needed
What we’re looking for:
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred
* Licensed to operate forklift
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment
* Minimum of two years of related experience supporting manufacturing operations
* Computer literate and ability to perform basic MS Windows / SAP operating tasks
* Attendance on the job is essential
* Able to work in a team environment
* Able to follow instructions, safety rules, and regulations
