Reporting to Logistics Director EDP Spain, responsible for the management of the physical logistics flows: transportation (from tendering to day-to-day operations), warehousing (from tendering to operational excellence), insourced or outsourced, in the geographical area. Ensure the logistics area works with the proper quality and development.
* Responsible for the management of all physical flows (pallets, trays, finished products...) including traceability.
* High English level.
* Leadership skills; the successful candidate will lead a team of 4 people.
* Detail oriented.
* Participate in the definition and implementation of the distribution strategy: insourcing or outsourcing, number and location of warehouses, transportation means, distribution schemes.
* Manage and optimise the global distribution costs: co-negotiation with suppliers, design and implementation of continuous improvement programs, warehouse activities, co-logistics opportunities, inventory control.
* Manage import/export flows according to tender conditions. Participate in the annual tender process, close coordination with the European team and Control Tower team.
* Identify opportunities and manage sustainability programs.
* Manage and execute the deployment of small logistics warehouses using CRP tools.
* Manage and develop own logistics team.
* Responsible for the coordination with Logistics Operator:
* Warehouse management: productivity, resources management, quality, performance.
* Orders preparation: picking and co-packing activities, quality.
* Performance: KPIs, action plans, scorecards.
* Pallet inventory control.
* Ensure Company standards are accomplished.
