Position Location : Spain - Valencia
How you will make an impact :
As Field Engineer representative in this position, responsible for delivering and building service excellence over and above our customer expectations.
What you will do :
1. Represent our company in a positive, professional manner while taking care of the company's customers, both external and internal.
2. Frequent trips in Spain / Portugal and occasionally in other countries in EMEA.
3. Own and deliver service commitments and complete installations, repairs, data analysis, calibrations, preventative maintenance, training, and radiation services on X-Ray fluorescence spectrometers and optical emission spectrometers.
4. Provide services remotely or on-site within the agreed conditions; set accurate priorities.
5. Service reporting, documentation, and creation of protocols to specifications based on internal and customer needs.
6. Maintain a high level of customer allegiance by building strong customer relationships and promoting an excellent customer experience.
7. Partner with our commercial colleagues to deliver customer deals that can be implemented profitably and meet / exceed customer expectations.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement through our Practical Process Improvement Business System.
Education :
Diploma or equivalent education preferable in electrical engineering, chemistry, engineering, or technical training in the field of electronics or training in the chemical field with technical orientation.
Experience :
Five years of work experience in technical services, field service experience (technical), or strong service knowledge. Preferable knowledge in heavy industrial processes (metallurgy, mining, geology and geochemistry, petroleum, polymers, glass, etc.).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
1. Excellent interpersonal communication both written and oral in English.
2. Ability to work efficiently with customers and colleagues in difficult and stressful situations.
3. Good knowledge of electronics and mechanics.
4. Customer friendliness and a professional demeanor.
5. PC literacy including MS Office and Outlook.
6. Ability to travel (both domestic and internationally) up to 80% (up to 4 nights per week at hotel).
7. Valid driver's license.
8. Self-organized and effective.
