Risk Management Solutions (“RMS”) Corporate foreign exchange (“FX”) and rates Sales is a regional team with sales people located in London and different European locations, including Madrid.
The team covers a range of client types – including large cap corporate clients, private equity & infrastructure funds.
Within the FX & Base & Precious Metals product suite, the team covers clients according to their specific needs (e.g. vanilla derivatives, structured business, general hedging, option strategies etc.) via different delivery channels (e-commerce and voice sales). To achieve further growth in Spanish, Portuguese (and Greek) FX markets, the team requires an additional senior coverage resource; product wise the role will be focused on FX and metals, and the candidate will work in close collaboration with the rates sales team. The candidate will sit on the private side of the business, within the Corporate Bank.
Your key responsibilities
* Actively acquire new large caps clients for the Iberia FX desk and the wider Deutsche Bank franchise.
* Maintain existing corporate client relationships & look for opportunities to increase revenue.
* Establish strategic FX dialogue with clients.
* Connect internally to create and maintain deal pipeline. The person would closely work with internal stakeholders, including trading, structuring, Corporate and Investment bankers, research and other partners to provide holistic client solutions.
Your skills and experiences
* A senior FX salesperson with a track record of transacting with Spanish corporate clients, of developing and nurturing client relationships.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of FX and the broader macro-economic environment.
* Ability to interact and fit into a pan-European team with contacts across the whole DB global network.
* Relationship management skills.
* Ability to react quickly and efficiently to different queries and events.
