What''s the Challenge ?
As a RAMS Engine er, you will report to the Head of the Systems Engineering Competence Centre and collaborate with team members across all subsystems. Your focus will be on RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) activities, supporting both current and upcoming projects for space systems and satellite platforms.
Your contributions will include:
* Analyze and evaluate system reliability and safety parameters.
* Identify and assess risks and potential failure modes.
* Develop and implement RAMS plans and strategies.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance system performance.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports.
* Provide RAMS guidance and support to the engineering team.
* Conduct and review RAMS analyses and calculations.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in RAMS methodologies.
What we''re looking for:
Technical skills:
* Experience and understanding of RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety)
* Strong technical knowledge of RAM theory and analysis techniques such as:
RBD: Reliability Block Diagram
FMEA: Failure Mode and effects analysis
FTA: Fault Tree Analysis
* Familiar with FIDES, ECSS dependability and safety standards
* Knowledge of safety analysis and risk assessment processes
* Resilience and adaptability in dynamic project environments
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Educational background:
* Degree in Engineering or a related field.
Professional experience:
* At least three years of professional experience in relevant positions, preferably in space sector.
Language skills:
* Fluent in English (B2 level as minimum) and Spanish.
* Knowledge of other European languages (French, German, Italian or Russian) shall be an asset.
