We are looking for a highly skilled
IT Procurement Specialist
with at least
10 years of experience
in IT purchasing, data analysis, procurement reporting, demand forecasting and planning, RFP management, and contract negotiations. A
proven track record
of success in IT procurement, along with a
strong commitment to purchasing processes and compliance, is essential. A
bachelor’s degree
in a relevant field such as
Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Supply Chain Management
is required.
A
master’s degree or relevant certifications
will be highly valued, as will previous experience in
global procurement roles .
IMPORTANT: If you are not in Spain, you must relocate.
What do you need to be part of this project?
Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze IT procurement data, identify trends, and generate reports to support decision-making and optimize procurement processes. Contract & Purchase Order Review:
Review and assess agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and alignment with procurement standards. Demand Forecasting & Planning:
Oversee demand forecasting activities, analyze historical data, adjust projections, and assess inventory levels to optimize procurement planning. Vendor Performance Monitoring:
Track and evaluate supplier performance using scorecards and other assessment tools, conduct regular reviews, and implement corrective action plans when needed. Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and company policies, while also identifying and mitigating procurement-related risks. Supplier Evaluation & Selection:
Support vendor evaluation and selection processes by reviewing proposals, conducting structured assessments, and preparing evaluation reports. Contract Negotiations:
Participate in contract negotiations, including
service level agreements (SLAs), to secure
favorable terms
for the organization. RFX Event Management:
Independently manage
complex competitive bidding processes, including
Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) .
Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent negotiation skills Effective written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in video calls and meetings Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills Ability to manage
multiple projects simultaneously
and meet deadlines Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Passion for
developing and enhancing procurement capabilities Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Fluent in spoken and written English
Languages: English (Fluent).
