The Asset Manager, as a member of the Operations Team, is responsible for managing the technical operation and maintaining the wind and photovoltaic portfolio. The Asset Manager further manages the local stakeholders and monitors the operational state of the existing assets as well as the integration of new assets.
Your main responsibilities will be:
1. Manage the technical operation and maintenance of the wind and photovoltaic portfolio and ensure compliance with existing permits, grid codes, legal requirements, norms, internal quality standards, and with budget, deadlines, and quality.
2. Negotiate maintenance contracts with external service providers.
3. Manage local stakeholders with first-class communication and coordination with grid operators, service companies, and other partners.
4. Achieve high availabilities of the assets, manage external service providers, and guarantee best-in-class performance.
5. Monitor the operational state of our assets with relevant regulations and take measures to maintain operations (e.g., in the event of unusual operating cases, incidents, or imminent danger).
6. Ensure the integration of new assets in the operation and support the team in questions of operational management and maintenance.
7. Control recurring inspections and work of third parties.
8. Optimize the technical operation by evaluating operating data, creating reports, and handling insurance and warranty claims.
9. Ensure continuous development with appropriate data analysis enabling a high degree of automation.
Your profile:
1. Bachelor’s degree in the field of renewable energies, electrical engineering, or similar.
2. 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in the operation and maintenance of renewable energies.
3. High technical understanding of wind and photovoltaic plants.
4. Knowledge in electrical substations and high-voltage infrastructures is a plus.
5. Ability to work as part of a team.
6. Excellent English skills (spoken and written).
7. Residence in Madrid.
8. Interest in the renewable energy transition.
