About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager / Account Manager to lead business development activities in Spain, based in Barcelona. This role will focus on driving new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and overseeing a small team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in an Account Manager or Business Development role within a staffing or consultancy firm, particularly in the IT & Tech sector. The ideal candidate should also be tech-savvy and have experience managing both permanent and contract staffing solutions.

What We’re Looking For
Business Development:
Lead and manage business development efforts across Spain, expanding Montreal Associates' presence in both permanent and contract staffing within the IT sector.
Identify new business opportunities by researching the Spanish market, industry trends, and potential clients in need of tech talent.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with Montreal Associates' goals for permanent and contract staffing.
Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in key client organizations, ensuring Montreal Associates is seen as a trusted partner for IT staffing solutions.
Lead the sales process from initial contact through to contract closure, including negotiating rates and terms for both permanent and contract placements.
Account Management:
Manage and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
Provide ongoing support to clients by understanding their needs and delivering top-tier IT talent, whether for permanent roles or contract-based projects.
Oversee the post-sales process, ensuring seamless delivery of staff and high-quality service to meet client expectations.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling escalations and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
Team Leadership:
Mentor 1 direct report (Account Executive), offering guidance and support to help them meet their sales goals.
As we grow, provide training and development opportunities to ensure the team is equipped to sell both permanent and contract staffing services.
Set clear sales targets and KPIs, track performance, and provide regular feedback to encourage consistent achievement of goals.
Reporting & Analytics:
Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) with accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and outcomes.
Provide sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic updates to senior management.
Track key metrics to assess and optimize the effectiveness of both permanent and contract staffing sales strategies.
