🔎 What are we looking for?
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst working close to one of our main clients in financial sector.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, gather requirements, and analyze processes to implement effective solutions.
📋 Main tasks and accountabilities will be:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
* Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
* Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), and use case diagrams.
* Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring that deliverables are met on schedule and within scope.
* Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of new systems and processes.
* Perform data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making and business strategy.
* Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
* Continuously assess the impact of changes on business operations and identify further opportunities for improvements.
* Support project management activities, including status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
* Provide training and support to end users on new processes, tools, and systems.
💡 What UST expects from you?
* The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related role.
* Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and systems analysis.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
* Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
* Good english level (C1) you will be working with international teams.
Nice to have:
* Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
* Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
* Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA).
* Experience with process mapping and improvement techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
* Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise systems.
📍 Work location
100% remote within Spain.
Temporary position
6 months with the possibility of continuation.
⏰ Work schedule
Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
