JDRoss have partnered with a client who have developed on of the most exciting technologies in the transmission and distribution industry. Recently closing a contract worth £1,000,000 to implement their technology on one of the largest offshore wind projects in the world.
Their team have formerly helped the likes of Netflix and skype to develop their products from the initial conception and now they are turning their attention the renewables market
Objectives:
* Focusing on the UK and mainland Europe transmission and distribution sectors, your job as a business development manager is to establish credible and long-lasting relationships with electrical utilities and their supply chain partners in the power industry.
* This role involves managing both new and existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and applications, and bringing qualified opportunities to the company.
* You will manage the interface between the customer and engineering teams, customer service, delivery, and operations functions.
Essential criteria:
* A minimum of four years of customer-facing experience (e.G., field applications engineering, sales engineering, or business development) within the electrical power sector.
* The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proven track record in complex project sales to large utilities.
* Experience in working within interdisciplinary teams in a high-technology growth environment..
* Experience in capital sales through intricate supply chains.
