Cybersecurity Operations Lead Location: Málaga Work Type: Hybrid 2-3 modality Salary: Up to 80kWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Cybersecurity Operations Lead to manage and enhance our clients’ security operations capabilities. A leading European consulting, planning and project management company with more than 50 years in the Real Estate and Construction sector.Through future-oriented consulting, the enterprise can offer solutions for successful buildings, profitable real estate portfolios, people-oriented working environments, and visionary mobility concepts.In this role, you will lead the daily operations of our cybersecurity team, oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC), and ensure robust incident response and threat detection processes. Your mission will be to safeguard the organization’s digital infrastructure through proactive risk mitigation and continuous improvement of our security posture. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Cybersecurity Operations team, providing mentorship, structure, and performance evaluation.Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for cybersecurity operations aligned with the company’s broader IT and business goals.Oversee SOC activities including threat monitoring, log analysis, detection, and incident response.Coordinate the full lifecycle of security incidents—detection, triage, analysis, response, remediation, and reporting.Ensure effective vulnerability management, threat hunting, and penetration testing initiatives.Maintain and optimize the use of security technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).Regularly report KPIs, threat intelligence, and incident impact summaries to executive stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices across the IT landscape.Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, industry regulations, and best practices.Promote a security-first culture by supporting internal cybersecurity awareness initiatives and training.✔️ Required QualificationsMinimum 7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.Proven experience leading security operations teams and/or SOC environments.Strong technical background in cybersecurity tools and platforms, including SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), EDR, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management solutions.Demonstrated experience in incident response management and threat intelligence.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational and project management skills.Fluent in English (minimum B2+/C1 level), both written and spoken.➕ Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent.Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., finance, critical infrastructure, pharma, etc.).Background in threat hunting, pentesting coordination, or red/blue team operations.Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, or other cybersecurity frameworks.Experience conducting or supporting cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
