Job Title: Building Construction Business Development Manager
Job Purpose: Business development expert in Topcon’s Building Construction solutions. Creating and maintaining business within a specific region by finding and managing relevant distribution channels.
Core Job Duties:
1. Commercial expert in our Building Construction solutions.
2. Finding new and managing existing distributors for our Building Construction solutions.
3. Promote our Building Construction solutions through various publicity and visibility activities, working with our Marketing Team on strategic marketing activities.
4. Create and drive a strategic business plan for our Building Construction solutions within a specific country/region.
5. Proactively work with Product Management to ensure our solution meets customer expectations and market potential.
6. Proactively work with our Operations Team to ensure logistics, ordering, and delivery activities are optimized.
Education & Experience:
1. Fluent in English, valid driving license, and willingness to travel.
2. Experience with finding and managing distribution partners; practical experience with construction projects, especially software and data workflows.
3. Familiar with modern construction practices.
4. Confident and convincing appearance with business partners; excellent communication skills; experience with sales and marketing activities.
5. Managing people is a core duty of the job, requiring 50% or more of the time.
Working Conditions:
1. Remote working environment; must be motivated and independent.
2. Flexible for traveling (50% traveling required).
3. Comfortable with both construction management and construction sites/workers.
4. Incentive bonus based on sales targets.
