Our last-mile team is looking for a customer focused and analytically skilled business analyst to join our team. This person will be responsible for bringing efficiencies and reducing costs using data analysis and visualization tools and processes to support our growing Hub Delivery program business in Europe. Amazon Hub Delivery allows local small businesses to partner with Amazon to provide flexible and cost-effective delivery service to delight customers globally. This is an emerging Amazon Logistics (AMZL) delivery channel, and is on an exponential growth trajectory globally.
The successful candidate will be able to work with technical and Hub delivery teams to optimize planning, execution, process improvement and track progress against goals. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen and comfort with technical teams and systems. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and enjoy working with large scale data.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Responsible for managing volume allocation and flow to the partners and their jurisdiction.
* Responsible for driving alignment across EU Hub Delivery and Sales & Operations planning teams to work towards metric improvements through joint projects and goals.
* Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems or related field.
* Prior experience of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience. Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
* Relevant experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps).
* SQL Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Ability to exercise influence without direct authority.
* Process improvements experience.
