Technical Sales Manager – Personal Care
Remote – Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia preferred)
A leading global personal care and cosmetic ingredient distributor seeks a Technical Sales Manager to drive business development and expand its market presence in Spain. This role presents an opportunity to progress into a European-level position based on performance and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive personal care & cosmetics business growth.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the customer base.
* Provide technical expertise and support to clients on cosmetic ingredients and formulations.
* Manage and nurture existing customer relationships, ensuring long-term business partnerships.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies.
* Conduct market analysis, identifying key trends and competitive insights to optimize sales approaches.
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the company’s growth and market positioning.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in B2B technical sales within the personal care & cosmetics industry (ingredients distribution preferred).
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, formulations, and their applications.
* Sales Expertise: Proven track record in new business development and account management.
* Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
* Languages: Fluency in Spanish & English (additional European languages are an advantage).
* Work Location: Remote role, with a preference for candidates based in Barcelona, Madrid, or Valencia.
* Education: A degree in chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
