Responsibilities
Develop and execute a global content and SEO strategy that aligns with italki's business objectives and brand voice.
Create high-quality, engaging content across various channels, including blogs, websites, social media, and email campaigns.
Conduct thorough keyword research and optimize existing content to enhance organic search performance and identify new opportunities.
Collaborating with the broader marketing team to ensure the content aligned with global strategy and business objectives.
Work closely with the product team to ensure new website features and product releases are optimized for SEO.
Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar platforms, providing actionable insights to drive traffic and improve rankings.
Stay current with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure italki stays ahead of the competition in search engine visibility.
Partner with designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure content is visually appealing, technically sound, and aligns with campaign objectives.
Manage, mentor, and guide editorial staff (including agencies and freelancers) to meet content and SEO goals.
Requirements
Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
5+ years of proven experience in content creation and SEO, preferably within the e-learning industry and multi-market environments.
In-depth understanding of SEO principles, including on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and link-building strategies.
Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, SEMetrics) and content management systems (e.g., Hubspot).
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and local market spokespeople.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and convert it into actionable strategies for improvement.
