Your Role
This position leads and is accountable for managing the Spanish IP&ES Department from initial business planning to project execution. You'll ensure professional commercial, technical, and operational management to meet customer requests and create added value.
You'll be responsible for vendor selection and qualification, vendor quotation analysis, compiling prices, issuing and submitting offers to clients, and maintaining compliance with QHSE rules and regulations.
The role requires close relationships with all departments and vendors to deliver agreed-upon timelines to customers.
You'll drive commercial offers to clients from conception to execution, ensuring pricing accountability in project execution and reporting to management on hit ratio and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Heavy Lift & Project Cargo activity in Spain IP&ES desk, ensuring communication channels with Customers, selected vendors, and Project team.
• Achieve performance goals or take corrective action as needed.
• Submit tenders and quotations on time and within client format requirements.
• Prepare and make available profit and loss statements (P&L) for all opportunities.
What We're Looking For
• University bachelor's degree.
• 2-3 years of experience in managing heavy lift & project cargo projects worldwide.
• Involvement in projects across sectors such as EPC, Power & Industrial, Renewables, Mining, O&G, Energy, Infrastructure, etc.
• Knowledge of vessel chartering.
• Deep understanding of Freight Forwarding and Project Management.
• Good understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Highly valuable if a technical background is provided by the candidate.
• Excellent reporting skills internally and externally.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
