**Job Overview**
The Sales Solution Engineer 3 plays a pivotal role in providing technical and industry expertise to the sales team and customers during the pre-sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the technical lead for complex customer engagements, applying extensive knowledge of solutions and/or verticals.
* Lead customer pre-sales meetings, identifying technical requirements and formulating solution strategies.
* Create demonstrations of proposed solutions, applying solutions knowledge, experience, and best practices.
* Present demonstrations to key customer stakeholders for validation and buy-in.
* Coordinate meetings with global services to transition key information, ensuring a seamless transfer of customer data.
* Compose internal documentation reflecting all activity related to the solution strategy.
* Provide technical responses for request for proposals (RFPs).
* Take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies, growing knowledge of the team while remaining current on best practices and market trends.
* Present at trade shows, conferences, and events.
* Work with development in support of solution enhancements.
* Offer guidance to other team members.
Requirements for Success:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
* Significant experience in technical sales and relevant industry or technology.
* Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and general software implementation methodologies.
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Self-directed with the ability to manage projects to completion.
* Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within teams and with other areas.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging, informative, and compelling presentation methodologies.
* Speak or write with ease, clarity, and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and audience.
* Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus.
* Driven to learn and stay current professionally.
* Up to 60% travel time required.
