THE ROLE
This position is for a reservation’s agent, responsible for the clerical duties associated with room bookings and general enquiries from arriving guests. The incumbent will be reporting to Reservations Manager and liaising with Front Office teams in the Costa del Sol and Tenerife regions.
Examples of key duties:
* Answer and manage reservation calls, messages and emails, professionally and in a timely manner, and aligned to company brand standards.
* Administer new and existing reservations.
* Become knowledgeable on Resort products, services, and pricing.
* Accurately book reservation requests, updating changes as required.
* Track & communicate clients requests accurately.
* Act as pre arrival contact for clients, particularly groups.
* Process credit card payments.
* Exhibit upmost confidentiality with clients and client information.

Background/Experience/skills:
* Proficiency of Opera Cloud / Opera or alternative brand PMS.
* Knowledge of or experience with IDEAS, Duetto, OTA Insights.
* Exposure to STR Global.
* Reservations management skills
* Minimum of 1-year experience in customer service, call centre environment or receptionist.
* High level of spoken Spanish & English.
* Flexible with work schedule.
* Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* May be required to work irregular shifts, holidays, and weekends.
* Work to brand standards
* Multi-lingual an advantage.
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
* Comfortable with navigating web-based reservation programs, helpdesk software, internet searches, airline websites/apps, SMS messaging, and smartphone apps.
