About the Role: We are hiring a Finance Manager to support our fundraising process and financial operations. Reporting to the SVP of Finance, this role is designed for a finance professional with a strong technical foundation in financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction support—someone who has been the execution horsepower behind multiple fundraising rounds. The ideal candidate will have experience in M&A, investment transactions, or corporate finance within a Big 4 or similar environment. This position will ensure financial rigor in budgeting, reporting, and investor deliverables, working alongside senior leadership as we prepare for our Series A funding round. This is a unique opportunity for a finance professional with a background in auditing, transaction advisory, or financial consulting to leverage those experiences in a fast-growing, international business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execution-Focused Finance Support:
• Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and refine financial models, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
• Due Diligence & Transaction Support: Assist in preparing financial data rooms, investor materials, and due diligence documentation for fundraising activities.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budgeting cycles, financial planning, and variance analysis across business units.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate financial records, support audits, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Fundraising Process Support: Work closely with senior leadership to prepare financial materials for investor discussions and due diligence.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth Support:
• Support senior leadership by executing financial tasks that contribute to the company's growth and investor readiness.
• Collaborate with external advisors (Big 4, legal, and financial consultants) to ensure structured and efficient financial processes.
• Enhance internal financial operations by implementing best practices in financial controls, reporting, and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
1. Big Four Experience: 2-5 years of experience at a Big Four firm in transaction advisory, financial consulting, M&A, or a similar capacity (audit followed by a transition into corporate finance or investment is also welcome).
2. VC/Growth Equity Expertise: Proven track record supporting fundraising execution, venture capital rounds, growth equity fundraising, or M&A activities.
3. Global Perspective: Experience in high-growth international companies, including managing cross-border financial complexities.
4. Financial Proficiency: Advanced skills in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting; proficiency with Excel, NetSuite, or similar financial platforms.
5. Investor Due Diligence & Reporting: Strong execution skills for supporting investor due diligence, preparing financial materials, and ensuring accurate, data-driven insights.
6. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees and/or relevant professional qualifications (CFA, ACA, CPA, pending completion) are a plus.
Reasons to Apply:
1. Own key execution responsibilities in the fundraising process with a front-row seat in venture funding and financial strategy execution.
2. Be part of an exciting industry shift. A unique opportunity to join a well-funded, high-growth company in its early stages, shaping a product/business that will impact millions.
3. Expand your professional capabilities. Work outside your comfort zone, develop in a fast-paced, rapidly growing video streaming industry.
4. Collaborate in a diverse & international environment, working alongside top-tier professionals in a dynamic and ambitious setting.
