About the Job
We are looking for a Treasury Manager and Business Controller Spain to join our growing division in Azuqueca de Henares (Spain) at the earliest possible date.
As a key member of our team, you will report to the Country Controller Spain and be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Business Controller areas within the organization.
Your mission will be to ensure that tasks are delivered accurately and on time, providing feedback on actuals, deviations, best practices, and trends.
Daily Responsibilities
* Advise other Company departments on business and financial recommendations, providing budget feedback and assisting in key financial decisions and strategies.
* Perform financial analysis, completing regular analysis, identifying and managing financial risk, completing research, performing economic and overall performance, and managing financial data.
* Report financial findings, working with financial and executive staff to make decisions, including completing regular reviews and delivering accurate reports and developing and giving presentations.
* Participate in internal audits, supporting deviations solutions and action plan implementation.
* Participate in external audits, providing information about deviations and changes.
* Follow up P&L impacts, analyzing data and preparing reports and specific tools.
* Assure correct impact of Stock movements in P&L and BS.
* Assure correct expense recognition in the P&L (invoices, accruals or deferred expenses) and the allocation of these expenses in the correct GBU.
* Match, analyze, and investigate Purchase Price Variances and deviations, assuring correct recognition in P&L.
* Reconcile and analyze COGS, investigating differences if any.
* Analyze manufacturing result in P&L.
* Check Bill of Materials to ensure STD accuracy.
* Internal transfer impact analysis/reconciliation, adjusting the allocation to recognize each GBU profit.
* Analyze Inventory valuation, overviewing physical count of inventory.
* Manage and report local Treasury resources (daily, variance, CFF, ...).
* Ensure bank account structure is correct for the local country and manage relationship with banking and financial providers.
Requirements
* University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
* More than 5 years of professional experience in one of the areas Finance and Treasury.
* Experience in multinational environment.
* Knowledge in analytical and cost accounting.
* Business fluent English language.
* Proactive communication with colleagues.
* IT skills and good knowledge in IT tools to establish and develop cost control and reporting (Excel, Hyperion, Business Warehouse...).
* Solid Knowledge in reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
