ABOUT THE POSITION
This is what your day looks like:
* Management of the finance department as well as purchasing taking into account internal (standard operating procedures) and external guidelines (company policies)
* Management and control of the pre-opening budget
* Monitoring of the monthly financial statements and review of the balance sheet accounts
* Creation of forecasts/budgets, analyses & reports
* The achievement of economic goals is just as much a part of your portfolio of tasks as the corresponding reporting to the management team and the owners
* Review of event/service contracts
* Control of business processes within the hotel
* Direct contact person of the management, as well as the legal/insurance department in all operational questions
This is what we want from you:
* Graduation as an accountant is an advantage
* Several years of experience in hotel accounting is required
* Result-oriented, structured work
* Computer skills in Opera, MS Office (especially Excel)
* Very good knowledge of accounting according to Uniform Systems of Accounts (USALI) & HGB
* Fluent in English & Spanish (spoken and written)
* Flexibility, commitment and resilience
* Excellent time and task management
