Your responsibilities and tasks:
* Drive the optimization of regional financial processes and systems, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
* Oversee financial operations for multiple locations within the region, ensuring consistency and compliance with corporate standards and local regulations.
* Develop, manage and control regional budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, aligning with organizational goals.
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
* Implement and monitor internal controls across the region to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity.
* Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to develop and execute financial strategies.
* Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Monitor and enhance internal controls to safeguard financial data and mitigate risks.
* Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
* Plan and oversee internal and external audits for regional operations, addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions.
* Evaluate the financial impact of new business initiatives, expansions, or acquisitions within the region.
Your profile and qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
* 8-12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-location capacity.
* Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
* Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Proficient in English, preferably fluent in the local language.
* Analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and ability to think strategically.
* Excellent communication skills.
* An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational skills.
* Intercultural experience & skills.
* Interpersonal skills (power of persuasion, conviction, and well-argued reasoning, proven to maintain & build up relationships and networks with relevant decision makers and stakeholders).
