We are looking for a Key Account Manager to lead the growth of our supply and origination business, targeting large energy consumers and producers.
Mission:
* As a Key Account Manager for large industrial accounts, you will be responsible for managing and developing key relationships with high-profile clients in the industrial sector. You will focus on the direct sales of Gas & Power solutions, while also generating opportunities in energy services like electrification, and collaborating closely with cogeneration power plants and PPA buyers. This is a dynamic role, requiring comprehensive client management and commercial leadership across Spain.
Responsibilities:
* Business development, attract new customers for electricity and gas supply, and identify opportunities in energy services, focusing on electrification projects in the Iberian energy market.
* Identify opportunities with cogeneration power plants producers and potential PPA buyers.
* Oversee the end-to-end management of assigned key industrial clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and alignment with commercial objectives.
* Develop customized energy solutions and lead the negotiation of complex supply agreements, including physical and financial Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
* Generate and negotiate opportunities in Wholesale Business and Origination, working closely with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver competitive energy solutions.
* Work with internal business units, including Risk Management, Credit, Finance, Legal, and IT, to develop business cases and support supply contracts.
* Strengthen the network of commercial relationships across Spain focusing on large industrial consumers and renewable energy partners.
* Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competition to maintain a competitive edge.
* Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline development, and key account performance.
Skills required (F/M/D):
* Ms/Bs University Degree in Industrial or similar.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with deep knowledge of energy markets (electricity, gas, wholesale, and origination) and PPA structuring models.
* A proven track record in managing large industrial accounts and closing complex energy deals.
* Experience working with direct sales channels and knowledge of the Portuguese energy market is a plus.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a client-oriented and results-driven approach.
* Ability to analyze market data, create business cases, and lead strategic negotiations.
* Demonstrable network within the energy sector, focusing on large consumers and renewable energy counterparties.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Fluency in English (C1) is required.
* Valuable experience in Gas & Power or Energy Solutions in one of the following regions at a national level: Center, Northwest, South, or Levante.
* Remote work, frequent travel to the offices in Madrid.
