NONNA BAZAAR RESTAURANT (Ciutadella de Menorca, SPAIN) is a prestigious and festive venue in Menorca, offering a great concept of fine dining food in a casual yet very high-quality service atmosphere.
Your role : We are looking for a talented and professional Restaurant and Event Manager to be responsible for a team and all F&B operations, delivering revenues and profits by developing marketing, financing, and providing appealing restaurant service.
Your activities :
* Establish restaurant and event business plans by surveying restaurant demand; conferring with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors; preparing financial, marketing, and sales projections, analyses, and estimates.
* Attract customers by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
* Maintain operations by implementing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.
* Maintain customer satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred patrons.
* Accomplish restaurant and event objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of budgets, inventory, and cost controls for FOH and BOH.
* Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant and event industry; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
* Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Minimum Requirements :
* Proven food and beverage management experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
* Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
* Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
* Communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
* Guest-oriented and service-minded.
* Fluency in Spanish and English; French would be an advantage.
