General Description
The Ethics and Compliance Senior Associate supports the implementation and monitoring of OW Ethics and Compliance Program across all geographies where the company is present.
This position is part of OW Corporate Ethics and Compliance Department, based in OW Headquarters in Madrid.
Main Accountabilities
* Support and resolve Level 3 incidents in the O365 Microsoft environment.
* Implement OW Ethics and Compliance Program in all geographies where OW operates.
* Develop risk assessments, implement mitigation controls, and evaluate/test control efficiency.
* Monitor new legal and regulatory developments and update policies and procedures as necessary.
* Provide Ethics and Compliance advice.
* Monitor the development of the Ethics and Compliance Program at OW.
* Propose and coordinate communication and awareness actions according to OW Corporate Ethics and Compliance Communication Plan and project plans when applicable.
* Propose and coordinate ethics and compliance training according to OW Corporate Ethics and Compliance Training Plan and project plans when applicable.
* Support the development, maintenance, and application of Compliance protocols and tools.
* Assist with third-party Integrity Due Diligence.
* Support investigation procedures related to complaints or issues concerning Ethics and Compliance policies and procedures.
* Support non-compliance case resolution and monitor their resolution.
* Contribute to reports for senior management and project sponsors as necessary.
Academic Background
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Graduate Degree required.
* Master's degree (preferable)
* Compliance or Internal Controls Certification
Languages
* Full professional proficiency in English required.
* Proficiency in additional languages considered an advantage.
Professional Experience/Knowledge
* 5-8 years of experience in Compliance in international Audit Firm or in a Compliance area/department of a law firm or company.
* Experience developing and implementing Policies and Procedures.
* Knowledge of main Anti-Corruption Legislation and Standards.
* Knowledge of Personal Data Privacy regulations.
* Understanding of specific industry laws and regulations.
* Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation.
