To accommodate our growth, Nipro EMEA is looking for an Inventory Planner who is detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative to join us in our Supply Chain team, based in our Mechelen office in Belgium.
About the role
You will ensure that our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will follow up on all inventory management-related duties, including optimizing inventory rotation, following up on special stock locations, and collaborating closely with 3rd party warehouse partners. You will act according to the existing European Supply Chain inventory management procedures and help to improve them.
What you’ll do
* Optimize inventory by increasing inventory turns, analysing overstock, short expiries, and out-of-stocks
* Collaborate with the demand planner to review and highlight short to midterm inventory shortages and slow movers
* Be the main contact for external warehouse partners regarding inventory questions for incoming and outgoing goods
* Work on improving collaborations with external partners
* Follow up on all storage locations, including quality and insurance-related topics
* Reconcile physical inventory for the assigned warehouse
* Organize the quarterly/yearly inventory count, destruction, and final reporting for the assigned warehouse
