Finance Solution Senior Analyst
Summary:
As a Finance Solutions Senior Analyst with expertise in Revenue Recognition and other finance and billing areas, you will drive financial optimization and process automation. This role is integral to enhancing financial systems, improving cash flow forecasting, and ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards. As a key player in the solution team, you will optimize financial processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging ERP systems, billing platforms, and financial analytics tools to streamline workflows and drive business impact.
In this role you will:
Common accountabilities:
* Have working experience and specialized technical/functional knowledge in your discipline. Understand how your area contributes to the business. Act as a reference for colleagues with less experience and support team members.
* Influence decisions related to your activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contribute to transversal projects, propose improvements to processes, and be accountable for your and team commitments.
* Work independently within the plan set by your manager, with some guidance on the most complex situations.
Specific accountabilities:
* Based on high-level business requirements, recommend potential solutions to Demand Management and Architecture groups during the feasibility study.
* Advise internal customers on potential solutions.
* Collect and review the detailed business specifications with internal customers.
* Analyze the detailed impact on existing processes and on the usage of existing tools supporting these processes.
* Define functional requirements of the solution using standard solutions whenever possible.
* Validate detailed functional requirements with internal customers and the solution team to ensure that the proposed solution meets their expectations.
* Validate technical requirements with the Internal Business Solution Architect/Developer and support the development team during the software implementation.
* Implement and test solution customization.
* Carry out end-to-end functional, regression, and performance tests.
* Coordinate user acceptance tests.
* Produce user documentation and educational materials to facilitate user understanding and adoption.
* Deliver the agreed solution on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
* Perform application functional support (customer/production) when requests are received from second-level support.
* Propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance.
* Have functional expertise in Finance processes, especially related to Revenue Recognition and Account Receivable. Knowledge in integrated areas like Billing and Controlling Processes is a plus.
* Have technical expertise in the solutions supporting this process: Zuora and S4 Hana.
About the Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in finance solutions, financial analysis, or related roles.
* Practical experience with billing systems, financial modeling, and cash flow forecasting.
* Experience working with S4HANA and financial reporting tools.
* Demonstrated ability to optimize financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement automation solutions.
* Experience using Zuora for supporting financial processes.
