For our Business Area Finance in Madrid, we are searching for Finance Specialists with a strong interest in Accounting. We are looking for motivated and experienced professionals to join our accounting team! If you want to expand your knowledge and expertise in the field of finance, we offer two exciting opportunities to become part of our dynamic and dedicated team. Additionally, these positions include an IT technical component. Ideal candidates should have experience with data analytics and be able to evaluate finance processes for automation potential and implement automation projects for the accounting department.
In your role as Balance Sheet Expert (m/f/d) with Practical SAP Knowledge, you will be part of our team responsible for preparing the financial statements for pbb AG, its branches, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies. Your responsibilities will include:
* Taking responsibility for the financial closing process and various balance sheet items.
* Preparing financial statements according to local GAAP and IFRS.
* Applying your practical experience in the accounting of parent and subsidiary companies, as well as branches.
* Utilizing technical proficiency in SAP (FI, PMT, FI AA, CML, BCA) and analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Qlik, Knime, Cognos, SAP BW).
In your role as Accounting Expert for Financial Instruments (m/f/d), you are a specialist in capital market products and accounting for financial instruments. Your responsibilities will include:
* Applying in-depth knowledge of capital market instruments and risk management products.
* Gaining experience in the accounting of financial instruments and hedge accounting according to IFRS.
* Working with front- and back-office systems like Summit, as well as analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Qlik, Knime, Python).
Your skills:
* You possess relevant knowledge in the respective finance domain and have a passion for data science and automation.
* You also have the relevant IT technical skills and enjoy analyzing processes, identifying automation opportunities, and implementing these in project work together with our IT colleagues.
* You are demonstrating strong communication skills in Spanish, English, and ideally in German.
* You are willing to regularly interact with the team at our headquarters in Garching/Munich.
