Role Purpose
The IT deployment lead will take the lead in delivering all key IT strategic new business wins as well as supporting key organic growth within the business.
1. Lead / Manage the IT Deployment team to support project implementations to align scope and ensure the required quality, timeline, and project budget are being met.
2. Lead / Manage the IT Deployment team to identify and develop new IT solutions in line with LLP EMEA IT / business strategy and customer requirements.
3. Lead the IT activity during the Solution Validation process to validate business requirements and prepare IT Solution Design aligned with LLP standards and customer needs.
4. Support onward project phases (Build, Technical Testing, UAT, implementation) as required to ensure alignment of scope and quality of deliverables in the IT workstream and alignment to IT Strategy.
5. Drive standardization of IT / Business delivery processes to enable quicker and more effective project delivery.
6. Provide strategic IT Deployment leadership / thinking when working with new customers/strategic projects to drive digital innovation.
7. Provide IT Deployment related training and support for new starters joining the team and/or projects and business.
8. Lead best practice process documentation and implement improvements from lessons learned in projects to drive continuous improvement in IT Deployment.
9. Support System & Process improvement with Integrated IT systems solutions, by gathering requirements, selecting suppliers, and providing the business with potential solutions.
10. Responsible for supporting the Regional IT Business Partner / IT SLT in ensuring all IT services are delivered in line with the operational and IT scope of the projects and business.
11. Coordinate with IT Suppliers and IT Project managers to ensure project scope, budgets, and timelines are being met.
Responsibilities
1. Leading new LLP project implementations across EMEA Region.
2. Lead the IT delivery of Solution Validation and onward project phases alongside the IT Project managers and wider LLP IT Organisation.
3. Lead the IT due diligence process to validate the outlined IT Solution is an optimal fit for the business/customer.
4. IT Change Management, support, and manage all aspects of change and release management for IT systems within the area of responsibility.
5. IT Supplier Management - management of IT suppliers within the area of responsibility to deliver projects on time, scope, and budget.
6. External Customer Relationships - manage and support communication with external customers as appropriate to support business development, in-flight projects, and existing operations.
7. Develop knowledge of all systems to support and drive best practice within operational processes of the system.
8. Provide strategic IT account leadership/thinking when working with new customers to drive digital innovation.
9. Training and Documentation - define requirements for and then facilitate creation and maintenance of required IT documentation. Facilitate the delivery of appropriate IT training to operational super users.
Requirements for the job
