For Northern Europe Management we are looking for a Cost and Performance Manager for our rail project south of Stockholm where you will lead the project team together with full budget management.
Responsabilities:
Advise and report regularly to the Commercial Director and the Project Director on contractual and Commercial matters.
Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue and growth, while minimizing costs
Manage interfaces between Director, internal engineering, legal and finance functions
Set financial targets, budget development and performance monitoring using key metrics
Provide commercial input into procurement strategies and evaluations for construction
Provide support on commercial aspects of contract management to ensure seamless handover
Advise, write and support with project correspondence.-
Ensure risk registers, variation trackers and extension of time tracker sheets are reviewed and updated monthly and included within monthly reports
Support to the initiation and setting up of projects
Advise on contractual matters and contractual approach with client
Identify contract grounds for claim and determine claim strategy
Review notices and contractual correspondence
Prepare Claims upstream and review and determine downstream.
Perfect Knowledge of the Project Agreement and Subcontract Contracts conditions.
Responsible for Subcontract Contract, scopes of works, T&C and its negotiation.
Specific role requirements:
Relevant industry experience; 10-12 years in a comparable position
Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or relevant business degree
Ability to spot opportunities to generate growth
Experience in leading a cross functional team of professionals
Ability to bring project from inception to close
Strong communication and leadership skills
Commercial acumen and financial awareness
