Job Description: A vacancy for an Industrial Maintenance Engineer within the #AirbusGetafePlant Manufacturing Engineering organization. As part of the industrial ecosystem, you will be able to develop your project management, problem-solving, strategy, and leadership skills. The open position is based in Getafe. The owner will be integrated with the HTP team and the central maintenance team, and will be responsible for one of the HTPs production lines.
The Maintenance Engineer coordinates the maintenance tasks according to the annual budget, related maintenance plans, and unplanned maintenance tasks. Furthermore, the Maintenance Engineer contributes to ensuring the required plant availability/plant performance KPI, based on the company's or department’s technical objectives of availability and quality.
Jobholder’s Activities:
* In the frame of major projects of acquisition of new assets, the Maintenance Engineer brings maintenance requirements and expertise along the acquisition projects in order to optimise the maintainability of the new asset when entering into the production phase.
* Ensures the Maintenance Department receives all the definitive documentation needed to optimise the performance of maintenance activities on this new asset.
* Analysis of failures and common faults that occur and how to take action to prevent them from reoccurring through PPS methodology.
* Ensure the required technical plant availability in the respective field of activity.
The Candidate We Are Looking For:
* At least 5 years of working experience in a related field such as Maintenance.
* Academic background: Engineering degree or other technical degrees, with a special focus on IT skills.
* Willingness and commitment to travel.
* Experience in composited field is highly appreciated but it is not mandatory.
* Negotiation level in English and Spanish.
* Autonomy and eagerness to learn.
* Negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence, and convince.
* Ability to manage conflicts in a constructive manner.
* Good stakeholder management, enjoys working beyond functions and silos.
* Able to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risks.
* Ability to perform and deal with uncertainty, constructing and managing diverse scenarios.
