The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading our PC risk management efforts, leveraging their extensive expertise to assess, model, and mitigate risks across our insurance portfolios.The purpose of the job is to:
Lead the development and implementation of PC risk managementstrategies and initiatives.
Oversee the assessment and quantification of risks related to property and casualty insurance products.
Provide expert guidance on actuarial modeling, pricing, reserving, and reinsurance analysis within the PC insurance domain. Secure that entities performadequate underwriting and pricingpractices for their portfolios, which contribute to theirsustainable growth. Active partner in theunderwriting of large accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management insights into business decision-making processes.
Conduct actuarial analysis to assess the impact of natural catastrophes on insurance portfolios.Control the end-to-end process of NAT CAT, challenging the exposures, hypothesis, models and results.
Mentor and coachjunior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional development within the team.

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to to PC risk management and contribute to the advancement of risk management methodologies.Profile:Background technical skills:
+10 years’ experience in PC within the insurance or reinsurance industry, risk management functions appreciated.Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
Experience in NAT CAT management appreciated.
Reinsurance expertise appreciated.
Reserving experience in PC business appreciated.
Personal capabilities:
Fluent in Spoken Written English (Spanish capabilities appreciated).
Ability to collaborate effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders as CROs or CEOs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Pro-activity, willingness to challenge existing process and ability to suggest improvements.
