Technique Solaire is a French independent solar power producer, founded in 2008, leading the PV rooftop market in France, India, Netherland & Spain, with more than 230 employees and an annual turnover of 260 million euros.
We are experts in developing, financing, building and operating solar projects. We own and operate 520+ MWp of assets in France, Netherlands and India and have more than 400 MWp in construction and 2,7 GWp of projects in development.
Our Spanish subsidiary, Technique Solaire Spain, has been incorporated in 2022 with approx. 30 MW of solar projects already in construction and a pipeline of approx. 400 MW.
We aim to quickly expand our activities in Spain. Our target is to have 600 MWp of operational projects in the country by 2030, with a growing team.
Job description
The position is located in Madrid, with frequent visits to the plants. You report directly to the Spain Country Director and you will work in coordination with our French Asset Management team.
What you will do:
* Supervision of contractual obligations and technical, commercial and legal regulations and ensuring a high level of compliance with all HSE requirements.
* Communication with key stakeholders: O&M, regional and local government, landowners, regional and local authorities, lenders, investors, DSO/TSO, OMIE, regulatory bodies, electricity off-takers.
* Monitor the O&M activity and third parties’ services providers - insurance, market agent, control center - to ensure the timely fulfilment of obligations and compliance with the contractual terms.
* Asset condition monitoring, follow-up of critical KPIs. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Identify opportunities for improvement.
* Review monthly maintenance reports and ensure an appropriate response from the O&M providers.
* Perform site visits and inspections to ensure the maintenance service quality and the asset condition.
* Identify and manage risks that could impact the performance or value of the assets, mitigation of operational, financial and technical risks.
* Track revenue from energy sales: verify meter data and rate tariffs are correct, and that payments are received and properly accounted for.
* Monitor the proper execution of the Power Purchase Agreements (PPA).
* Follow-up of the budget and P&L account for every asset.
* Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and updates to project financial models.
* Monthly verification of each of the plants’ invoices. Follow-up on payments to suppliers.
* Assist during commissioning and PAC process.
In addition to the asset management of the PV plants in Spain (32 MWp), the candidate will also be responsible for the remote asset management of the PV plants in the Netherlands (26 MWp).

Desired knowledge and experience
* Degree in Engineering or similar.
* 2+ years of experience in the Spanish renewables market: asset management/O&M.
* Good, demonstrable understanding of the requirements related to Spanish PV projects.
* Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
* High Level of Proficiency with MS Office suite of products (Excel in particular), SCADA.
* You speak fluently English and Spanish, French is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills.
* You are deeply involved, proactive, organized and able to work independently.
* Valid driver’s licence.
