Our client, a multinational company, integrates solutions that help their customers be more efficient in their intralogistics operations by implementing turnkey systems that involve automation in hardware and software.
They are in a successful phase of expansion and growth and, therefore, need to hire a Project Engineer (PE), who is responsible for the installation and commissioning phase of LSI projects. Additionally, work will occasionally encompass responsibilities in supporting the Systems Engineering group with layouts and manuals during the sales phase. A PE works closely with the Project Engineering Coordinator (PEC) in daily planning, executing, and reporting project deliveries.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and support day-to-day supplier and customer installation needs.
* Maintain permanent communication flow with the Project Management and System Engineer specialists designated to the project.
* In the execution phase, be responsible for onsite work from mechanical and electrical installation to commissioning, including:
* Validate civil works, coordinate and supervise the erection of warehouse structures, machinery, and interconnection wiring.
* Manage PLC and software integration.
* Ensure onsite safety.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering; electrical engineering is a plus.
* Highly proficient in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
* 3 years’ experience working with installations.
* Disposition to travel: ready and excited to travel intensively (approximately 60%).
* Willing to relocate to Madrid (if not already residing there).
