We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the generation of new ADC business, as well as for the maintenance of existing business, growing the sales in a particular area of the country, following strictly, throughout moment, the code ethical in force and under the company values. You will manage the people under your responsibility as a coach in an ethical way with the objective of working towards excellence and supervise and mentor staff, proactively supporting their professional development.What You’ll DoEnsures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.Sales planning and follow up (establishes yearly territory sales plans (Territory Action Plan), implements sales strategies).Coach the people under your responsibility doing dual visits in the field according to the instructions given by the company.Supports the sales representatives in maintaining and expanding customers, collects information on competitors’ sales, prices, benefits and products, implementing market strategies. Responsible for keeping the segmentation and targeting customer file of the district updated.Empower and facilitate their work and that of their team with other departments of the company.Be an effective bidirectional communication channel ensuring that the company’s strategy and instructions are understood by your team and by collecting/communicating to the management doubts and concerns that you can’t resolve.Maintains good customer relationships and visits especially key customers on a regular basis.Initiates and runs meetings with the Sales Force.Has full people management responsibility for all district sales staff (defines departmental objectives, responsibilities of your staff, team and personal goals; gives honest feedback to your staff regarding their performance).Required QualificationsUniversity Degree in Science or High School Degree with at least 5 years experience.Comprehensive knowledge of diabetes and its treatment.People management/leadership coaching ability.Good PC knowledge and proficiency in written and oral English.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of ADC market (scientific background and use of the products) and the various laboratories.Knowledge of ADC products.Knowledge and application of ADC procedures, policies and code of business conduct.Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
