Your role and responsibilities
As a Motors Service Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the Motors & Generators service portfolio to ABB customers in Spain. Your primary goal will be to drive sales volumes and margins across the service portfolio, with a strong emphasis on digital solutions and promoting various upgrade, retrofit, and value-added services. The work model for the role is: #hybrid. This role is contributing to the Motion Service division in the North of Spain. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Implementing the service sales strategy in the North Area of Spain.
2. Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
3. Focusing on driving sales of digital solutions and promoting upgrade, retrofit, and value-added services.
4. Preparing sales plans, reviewing them, and proposing recovery plan(s) when needed.
5. Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by leveraging market trend information and identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios.
6. Achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the service portfolio.
7. Contributing to risk assessments related to the project/service particularities.
8. Registering required information into the appropriate customer database.
9. Planning and performing weekly sales visits and reporting them in the CRM.
10. Reporting leads/opportunities, managing, and updating the pipeline in the CRM.
11. Updating and monitoring sales proposals and tenders, following up on proposal statistics.
12. Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB's offering and strategy, managing administrative sales processes.
13. Actively promoting ABB’s service products and solutions in marketing activities (e.g. trade fairs and customer meetings) while monitoring trends to develop effective marketing activities.

Qualifications for the role
* Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical… Engineer or Higher Degree.
* You enjoy the innovation and new challenges in the industry.
* Proven experience in service sales, preferably within the motors and generators business.
* You are passionate about innovation where you enjoy leading commercial and technical conversations with customers.
* Ability to work with Microsoft package, SAP, SalesForce…
* You are at ease communicating in Spanish (fluent) and English (intermediate).
* Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* You hold a current driving license and work permit valid in Spain.
