IT Business Solutions Analyst
Purpose of the role
Responsible for ensuring the prompt delivery of IT services to support business operations (applications and infrastructure) and resolving reported incidents in collaboration with internal and external IT subject matter experts, including those at remote sites. They proactively supervise compliance with standards, policies, procedures, and risk controls. Additionally, they support disaster recovery planning and execution to safeguard operations, contribute to JTI’s financial planning cycles (SPC/ASP/LE), manage IT assets, and handle procurement activities. They also act as the contact for IT audit requirements.
Responsibilities
* Develop strong relationship with the business community, ensuring clear understanding of business environment and user requirements. Help identify opportunities for operational excellence and business performance improvements. Act as primary end-user contact in the delivery of IT requests.
* Provide effective communication to relevant parties. Identify and recommend potential business improvements by evaluating the best IT practices (internal/external), sharing insights with IT and business teams, and implementing solutions to enhance Market operations. Ensure end-user training on IT solutions and services, including refresher sessions, to minimize operational issues.
* Coordinate the delivery of IT service requests, promptly analyze and prioritize incidents, and collaborate with IT experts to resolve them efficiently. Conduct proactive system performance monitoring, apply necessary updates and fixes, and perform maintenance activities to ensure stability and reliability with minimal business disruption.
* Provide support for SAP B1 and other applications through enhancements, troubleshooting, and data management. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper upkeep of technical systems, including MS Office, Windows OS, Telephony, and Videoconferencing tools.
* Collaborate with the IT solutions team to acquire expertise and documentation for supporting implemented solutions, ensuring alignment with the operational support model. Update the IT Service Portal to facilitate the transition to maintenance and provide input on incident management to assess the impact of business changes on existing systems.
* Support the development and maintenance of the IT disaster recovery plan (DRP) based on the business impact assessment (BIA), execute assigned DR drill tasks, and ensure compliance with JTI policies, IT continuity plans, and JSOX requirements. Maintain up-to-date solution documentation, manage version control and change releases, and implement security patches. Promote awareness of corporate IT standards among end-users, providing training as needed, while identifying deficiencies and coordinating corrective actions.
* Build strong working relationships with internal IT service providers (e.g., GSD, GSM, NCC) and support the selection of qualified third-party IT suppliers for operations. Coordinate procurement and billing tasks, ensuring compliance with operating guidelines, policies, procedures, and J-SOX controls. Provide regular feedback on supplier performance.
* Manage IT assets within the assigned Cluster/Market site, including maintaining inventory, renewing software licenses, and replacing/procuring hardware in line with the refresh cycle. Handle PR/PO/invoicing for IT assets and services promptly and in compliance with procurement policies. Support SPC/ASP/LE financial planning, assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense analysis, and oversee contract management with local and international IT vendors.
Requirements
* University Degree in Computer or Technical Science or strong IT background
* At least 2 years of experience in IT, specializing in applications and infrastructure, preferably within multinational companies. Strong understanding of business operations and processes, particularly within the FMCG industry.
* Fluency in both oral and written English.
* The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in IT operational support, including Windows OS, MS O365 (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel), video conferencing, and MS collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Experience in configuring workstations, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and collaboration equipment (e.g., Surface Hub, Teams rooms) is required. Knowledge of IT service desk software (e.g., ServiceNow), IT procurement, and supplier management is essential. Additional skills in technical documentation, SAP B1 configuration, access management, and Power BI data management are also key.
